Crispy Ee-Fu Noodles
Ee-fu noodles are usually fried and served with stir-fried chicken or seafood and vegetables. You can use ready-to-eat noodles or you can fry it yourself. Smothered in thick gravy, this quick and easy noodle recipe will be a hit for both kids and adults.
- 4 pcs Ready-made Crispy Noodle
- 300 gr Chicken Breast or Chicken Fillet
- 1 pc Carrot
- 1 pack Bok Choy
- 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 600 ml Water
- 3 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1 tsp Fish Oil
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 dash Salt & Pepper
- 3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
Prepare 600ml room-temperature water in a bowl. Add in Oysters Sauce, Fish Oil, Sesame Oil, Salt, Pepper. Add Corn Starch and stir well. Set aside.
Cut the carrot and bok choy. Boil in hot water until half cooked (8 mins for carrot, 2 mins for bok choy). Strain and set aside.
Cut Chicken Breast into small cubes.
Heat oil in a deep bottom pan. Add garlic and stir until fragrant. Add in chicken breast and stir until it’s cooked through.
Add in the Corn Starch mixture in Step 1.
When the broth comes to a boil, lower to a simmer and add the carrot and bok choy.
Pour hot broth over the crispy noodles and it’s ready to be served.
